"To Life"
To Life ... To Children ... To Hope
Annual Tribute Dinner

The Florida Holocaust Museum will hold its annual To Life dinner on February 25, 2006 at A La Carte Pavilion in Tampa. This year's theme, "To Life To Children To Hope," will honor the memory of 1.5 million children who perished in the Holocaust as well as the 1.2 million children who have since become victims of modern day genocide.

Last year's event was an overwhelming success. Since 2005 marked the 60th anniversary of the end of WWII and the liberation of the death camps, we chose to honor both local survivors and liberators. There was no more fitting tribute to see liberators standing shoulder-to-shoulder with survivors - all of whom shared the most unique of common bonds.

This year, we will gather to honor children - past and present. In addition, we will pay special tribute to Congressman C.W. Bill Young as he receives the 2006 Loebenberg Humanitarian Award.

Master of Ceremonies, Jon Voight, will join us again with special guest speakers, David Gerwirtzman and Jacquelyn Murekatete. These unique individuals will share their touching story of how they met: she, a young Rwandan girl who lost her family in genocide - he, a Holocaust survivor.

Please join us. Last year, this event was sold out! You may choose from a variety of sponsorship levels but call soon to reserve your space.

Proceeds from this event will enable the Florida Holocaust Museum to sustain and continually grow our educational programs, which teach tolerance, respect, and the inherent worth of all people to generations of children.
