About Us

All for Art, Art for All

The Outdoor Arts Foundation, Inc. (0.A.F.) is an innovative non-profit, community-based arts organization formed in June 2002. O.A.F.'s goal of creating art-in-public places projects throughout the world is achieved in partnership with corporations, individual art patrons; and, in close connection with public officials.

Since its inception, O.A.F. has earned positive recognition with the introduction of large-scale building wrap murals created by regionally recognized artists such as Carl Cowden & Eileen Goldenberg, both working in partnership with the prestigious Tampa Preparatory School. The Foundation has also facilitated large scale murals by internationally recognized artists Peter Max, Romero Britto and Theo Wujcik. O.A.F. has also initiated community-wide exhibitions featuring fiberglass Loggerhead Sea Turtles, Manatees, Tarpon and Elephants as well as projects featuring architecturally designed dog houses, playhouses, artistically designed chairs and butterflies.

These projects are possible with generous funding, which we have been fortunate enough to receive from forward-thinking businesses such as Psychological Assessment Resources, JMC Communities, the Wilson Company and the Tampa Bay Lightning to name a few.

O.A.F. has also partnered with municipalities to create some of our most groundbreaking and stand-out projects. Safety Harbor, Oldsmar and Largo have all helped us to achieve success and growth far beyond our original expectations.

We now stand at a precipice where we have the opportunity to enhance the cultural and artistic landscape of not just the Tampa Bay Area but the entire planet. Accomplished artists are the key to creating colorful murals draped on bland buildings, sculptures adorning plain parks, painting drab dumpsters in neighborhoods, creating fun fire hydrants for pets and people, adorning beautiful benches and painted planters displayed prominently everywhere for all people of all ages and backgrounds to enjoy. O.A.F. is prepared to implement art projects throughout the area with your support from $5,000.00 - $5,000,000.

For more information, we cordially invite you to browse through our website and view our past and present projects. Should you need assistance with a project or have a question about one of ours, please contact our President, Lonnie Homenuk by e-mail at Lonnie.Homenuk@gmail.com.
